Updated Process Technology Improves Efficiency & Savings
Clow Darling's Industrial Department provides industrial mechanical contracting and multi-trade mechanical services to resource-based
industries of Northern Ontario. Pulp and paper mills; mine, mill and smelters; grain and food processors; bulk terminals; water
and effluent treatment plants; and power generation plants provide the base of work in Ontario, Manitoba, and
Saskatchewan.
We have developed a skilled supervisory team with multi-trade project experience in machine
installations; fabrication and installation of process, power and chemical piping; tanks & vessel erection;
structural steel and conveyor systems.
Maintenance shutdowns, rebuilds and critical schedule projects are
comfortable environments for our personnel. We have millwrighting, structural fabrication and installation, and piping fabrication and installation expertise. Management personnel on staff have experience on projects as diverse as rebuilding paper machines, petrochemical equipment and piping installation; power and recovery boiler power piping and ancillary equipment installation; copper, gold and iron ore mine mill and smelter equipment and piping installation.
Maintenance work has been as diverse. Design-build and prime contractor services are available to meet customer requirements. Joint ventures are put in place to provide competitive expertise.
